4/16/2019 — Several Swim and Dive Bulldogs made the 2018-19 academic and athletic All-State teams, which were announced by the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA) this week.

Texas Academic All-State

Congratulations to Michael Bullock, Julia Giannotti, Olivia Gonder, Madi Kohlmeyer and Abby Portwood for making the Texas Academic All-State Team for 2019.  The annual honor (eligible to juniors and seniors only) was announced this week by the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association.

Texas Athletic All-State

Ten Bulldogs are honored with Texas All-State first team and second team titles for individual events, while five relay squads are honored too. 

​

Individuals All-State honors for Bulldogs include:

• Noelle Marsh (50-yard and 100-yard free)

• Olivia Gonder (100-yard free, 200-yard individual medley, 100-yard fly, and 100-yard breast)

• Presley Heitzmann (200-yard individual medley. and 100-yard breast)

• Kiley Moriarty (200-yard and 500-yard free),

• Jada Shorter (one-meter dive)

• Kailey Turner (100-year fly)

• Mason Machicek (200-yard free)

• Gustavo Ott (200-yard individual medley and 500-yard free)

• Jett Lively (one-meter dive)

• Torsten Henze (100-yard fly).

The following relay squads earned Texas All-State distinction over the 2018-19 season:

• 200-yard free relay: Noelle Marsh, Madi Kohlmeyer, Kailey Turner, Kiley Moriarty, Salina Damas and Liv Flores

• 200-yard medley relay: Olivia Gonder, Presley Heitzmann, Kailey Turner, Noelle Marsh, Abby Portwood, Kelsey Portwood, Salina Damas and Savannah Schwienteck

• 400-yard free relay: Olivia Gonder, Kiley Moriarty, Kailey Turner, Noelle Marsh and Courtney Fults

• 200-yard free relay: Mason Machicek, McKinley Mouton, Gustavo Ott, Torsten Henze, Corbin Gietl, Cooper Waybright, and Will Honderich

• 200-yard medley relay: Mason Machicek, McKinley Mouton, Gustavo Ott, Torsten Henze, Corbin Gietl, Cooper Waybright,  Michael Bullock and Will Honderich
